You decide not to run for president in 2016. Of course, this is a hypothetical scenario and we can only theorize on what would have happened. Probably Hilary would have lost less progressist voters, as not being a “true progressist” was the main point of attack from Bernie. Either way, Hilary would have still been the main democratic candidate and the finals would have been between her and Trump. However, the result is likely to had been the same, as Bernie did not contribute that much to overthrow Hilary.
